Works out of the box from USB (Ubuntu 10.04), without any additional installs Works with USB running from 32-bit Desktop Live CD. Minor settings for page size and word-wrap were only settings changes. Ubuntu 8.04.3 auto-detects the printer and it works straight away. The print manager should auto-detect use the ML-1710 drivers. The whole set up made in less then 3 minutes ! Works perfectly !Äownloaded the Universal Linux Driver from Samsung Printer autodetected by the print manager. Works perfectly on both USB and parallel ports - use the automatic setup Has worked perfectly in every version of Ubuntu since Breezy (5.10) Works great with new Samsung drivers.Easy to setup. Working as networking printer and scanner using Samsung Unified Driver for Debian.
